Lakehead University Political Science Professor Laure Paquette says President Trump’s tariffs on Canadian Softwood Lumber is his way of thinking he’s keeping “America First”.
Paquette says that’s not the case, calling him an ineffective leader who is desperately trying to show that he is accomplishing something.
She notes America can afford to drag their feet on this agenda.
