Dryden City Council is expected to pass a bylaw at the Monday April
17th Open Meeting changing regulations for outdoor swimming pools and hot
tubs.
The move is designed to promote safety around swimming areas including
inflatable pools.
Under the proposed amendments, any pool or hot-tub holding 2-feet of
water would have to be equipped with a hard-top cover that could be locked
or have access restricted by a fence.
The public is encouraged to provide input by contacting the City’s
Building and Planning Office.
