Potential Buyer for Atikokan Mill

There’s been a potential buyer found for two former Buchanan owned Sawmill’s in Northwestern Ontario.
Eacom Timber Corporation of Montreal says its entered into a purchase agreement with receiver PricewaterhouseCoopers for both the Sapawe Mill in Atikokan and Northern Sawmills in Thunder Bay.
The deal is subject to a number of conditions, including securing necessary approval from third parties and the courts.
Eacom is also seeking a secure wood supply from the Province for the Atikokan mill.
