Potential Dam Sale Once Again Causing Concern

There’s renewed concern over the potential future of Abitibi-Bowater’s hydro-electric dams in Northern Ontario.
The dams provide low cost electricity to the Fort Frances and Iroquois Falls Mills.
Kenora-Rainy River MPP Howard Hampton says the company is again looking to sell the assets, which will hurt local Mills.
Hampton is calling on the province to prevent any sale from moving ahead.
