Crimestoppers in Northwestern Ontario and Northern Minnesota is trying to make it easier for people to send them tips.
A new initiative has been launched, which will allow local
residents to send their tips by text messaging.
Regional Co-ordinator of Crimestoppers, Garry Potter says
it just gives them another tool in their crime fighting arsenal.

Potter says to send a text message simply type Tip262. You then text in your tip and then dial 2-7-4-6-3-7 or CRIMES.
