A chance to witness a showcase of power and helping out a good cause at the same time.
‘Barbells for Babies’ is being held at the Pizza Hut parking lot in Dryden tomorrow (July 27th) starting at 11:00am.
The amateur event features powerlifting, bench press, deadlift and squats.
It’s also a fundraiser to help continue putting cuddle cots in area hospitals.
A cuddle cot is a cooling system that preserves stillborn babies while their parents grieve.
Marquee Miller’s project has already resulted in them being introduced at hospitals in Dryden, Sioux Lookout and Kenora.
The event is open to the public.
