Premier Addresses Liberal Members

Premier Kathleen Wynne wants to distance her Liberals from the opposition.
With election talk heating up in Ontario, Wynne says she has no interest in a campaign of mudslinging or personal attacks, and doesn’t think the public wants it either.
Wynne addressed Liberal members at a conference in Hamilton on the weekend.
She noted that the answer to Ontario’s challenges with the economy isn’t going to be through austerity and thoughtless cuts.
The Liberals have also unveiled a new website called “Common Ground” to solicit ideas for their next party platform.
Kathleen Wynne admits not all of the suggestions will make it to the final document.
Wynne believes the electorate has a lot to say and its the politicians’ responsibility to reach out any way possible to engage people in the process.
