The province is introducing a range of new initiatives to help prevent sexual harassment.
Premier Kathleen Wynne says all MPP’s will go through sexual assault and harassment training, and is asking cabinet ministers to propose ways to enhance support for victims.
The government is also looking to launch a new multimedia public education campaign on sexual violence.
Wynne says plans have taken off following the publicity surrounding allegations against former CBC host Jian Ghomeshi.
