Premier Kathleen Wynne is weighing in on the cost of utility packages in the province.
Wynne’s comments come after the Province of Manitoba released a report showing Ontarians pay almost $5,000 a year more than Manitobans.
Wynne says previous investments in electricity infrastructure have increased rates for residents.
She notes the government remains committed to lower electricity rates and maintaining the rebate programs in Northern Ontario.
Wynne adds the cut in auto insurance premiums will also help take some financial pressures off of residents.
