Kathleen Wynne values both the Public and Catholic education systems in the province.
That was one of her talking points this week when she spoke at an Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association Conference.
The Premier announced during the meeting that she is committed to continue stable funding for Catholic education.
Wynne says Catholic teachers are instrumental in developing character traits such as empathy and generosity.
She adds it’s her responsibility to listen to all teachers and support their needs.
Wynne adds that in the upcoming budget the Liberals are committed to providing more investments in mental health, child care and health care.
