Premier Speaks to Municipal Delegates in T Bay

Christine Kaszycki , the Assistant Deputy Minister for Northern Development, is now the Government’s Ring of Fire co-coordinator.
Premier Dalton McGuinty made the announcement in Thunder Bay Thursday.
Kaszycki will oversee all issues pertaining to Ring of Fire activities in the Far North.
McGuinty also took time to defend his government’s Far North Act.
Numerous groups including business and First Nations organizations are condemning it.
However, McGuinty believes there will be a ways to work around any concerns
The Premier says the act is the way to balance development and conservation in the north.
