Prep Work Underway at Site of New School

A ground breaking ceremony is set for April 16th at the site of Dryden’s new Elementary School.
Prep work is underway on the Riverview School property, with construction expected to start in late April or early May.
Dean Carrie is the Superintendent of Business with the Public School Board and he says there will be short term pain for long-term gain.
Carrie says the Board is working with Construction crews on minimizing the impact on student learning during the construction phase.
The $16-million state-of-the-art School is expected to open its doors in September 2011.
