May 31st marks World No Tobacco Day and it’s also the date Ontario
becomes smoke free.
Northwestern Health Unit Spokesperson Jennifer McKibbon says the new
Legislation will end up saving businesses in the long-run.
The Health Unit has released a 10-page plan to help businesses prepare
their employees for the Legislation.
McKibbon says shelters or anything with a roof outside the workplace
will be smoke-free.
People who work outdoors in equipment such as a loader or grader will
no longer be able to light up.
