Prescription Pills Seized in Deer Lake

Over $17,000 worth of drugs has been seized from the Deer Lake First Nation Airport, north of Red Lake.
Police found Oxycontin and Percocet pills.
Nishnawbe-Aski Police say 27-year-old Rolene Meekis is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
Meekis has been released on a promise to appear in Court in November.
