The federal government says it will keep its election promises of funding for social infrastructure projects.
When asked whether funding for affordable housing would be announced soon, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stressed Canadians need housing, opportunities and growth.
However, Trudeau didn’t provide any details including when the funding would be announced.
Meantime as the feds move towards legalizing marijuana in the country, Prime Minister Trudeau is remaining coy about just how long the process will take to complete.
He says they want to be responsible but notes they hope to have legislation presented shortly.
Trudeau says the goal remains to keep marijuana out of reach of children and to take the sale away from the criminal element.
