Prime Minister Promising Action On Climate Change

Canada is back.
That was the message from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as he addressed the opening of the United Nations Convention on Climate Change in Paris on Monday.
Trudeau highlighted five key areas of focus for the country moving forward.
He says they will act based on scientific evidence and work to develop a low-carbon economy, including carbon pricing.
Trudeau says climate change is an opportunity to build a sustainable economy, clean technology and green infrastructure.
Trudeau went on to promise working relationships on an international scale beginning with partners in North America.
Canada will also contribute $2.65-billion over 5 years to lower carbon emissions in developing countries.
