Police say Methamphetamine, other wise known as speed, may soon plague Northwestern Ontario.
Detective Staff Sergeant Brian Brattinger is the Head of the
Tri-Forces Drug Unit and says the drug will become a problem in no time.
Brattinger notes Meth and Meth Labs have already become prevalent in
Kenora, Northern reserves, Winnipeg and in Minnesota.
He says other drugs surging in popularity in the Region are Ritalin and
Oxicotton.
The abuse of prescription drugs has also become a growing concern.
