It may be a band-aid solution, but the Dryden Sewage Treatment
facility will receive a $45,000 upgrade.
One of the clarifier units is badly eroded and immediate work is
needed to keep the plant running until a new facility can be built.
Director of Engineering Brad Johns says the repairs are necessary given the environmental concerns.
A Thunder Bay firm will conduct the work later this month and the
project is expected to be completed in December.
