The Receiver handling Proboard Limited is still reviewing bids for the plant, keeping Atikokan residents on edge.
All submissions are confidential but Mayor Dennis Brown believes up to 6 buyers have expressed interest.
The plant closed down last August, putting 145 people out of work.
The Receiver is looking over the pro’s and con’s of all bidders and has given no indication when a buyer will be selected.
