Project Safety Lane in Red Lake

A high number of charges laid and warnings issued during a Red Lake OPP and Ministry of Transportation enforcement blitz.
“Project Safety Lane” was conducted at the intersection of Highway’s 105 and 125 and 20-commercial and personal vehicles were inspected during the 2-day initiative.
OPP seized the plates of 11-vehicles.
Charges included no annual inspection, driving without a valid permit, driving with no licence, improper licence and failing to ensure performance standards are met.
