Dryden’s Chris Pronger says he’s happy to be an Edmonton Oiler and
excited about the future.
Pronger has signed a 5-year deal with the Oilers worth over $31-million.
In an interview with CKDR Sports, Pronger says he will miss St. Louis
but notes he’s ready to play hockey back at home.
Pronger admits he was surprised to hear from Edmonton and notes his
wife is also pleased with the change of scenery.
Pronger says the Oilers have a stable core of defenseman and some
exciting players up front and he believes the team will be a contender this
year.
