Proposed Extension of Bear Hunt

The Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters says the Province is missing the mark in a plan to extend the fall bear hunt.
The MNR is proposing to stretch the hunt in Northern Ontario by 2 weeks.
OFAH Spokesperson Greg Farrant says the move does nothing to resolve the nuisance bear problem.
Farrant does admit that Natural Resources Minister David Ramsay is starting to listen to Northern concerns.
