Federal Finance Minister Bill Morneau concedes changes are coming to controversial tax proposals and promises more clarity to small business owners who have been so vocal in their opposition.
Conservative MP Shannon Stubbs says the Trudeau Government’s spin that only the wealthy would have to pay more is deceitful.
Stubbs goes on to say our billionaire Finance Minister and millionaire Prime Minister would not have been affected.
Stubbs notes that small business owners that make $35,000-$73,000 a year would be adversely affected, not to mention the workers they employ.
What the changes will be have not been spelled out by Bill Morneau.
The Liberals have promised the transfer of family farms to the next generation would not be affected by the tax changes.
