With warm weather upon us, Health Canada reminding us to protect yourself from those pesky bugs that bite.
Health Canada says bug bites can cause a number of health problems, and recommends using bug spray and other inspect repellents safely.
All repellents must be approved by the agency.
This includes natural repellents like citronella or other essential oils.
Health Canada adds to use those products as directed.
That includes using only a small amount and never spraying it directly in your face.
Spray it on your hands first and then apply to the face, but try not to get it in your eyes. (File Photo)
