Province Funding Atikokan Mineral Study

The Town of Atikokan has received $1-million in Provincial
funding to continue a mineral development study.
The Northern Development and Mines funding will move the community’s
Mineral Development Initiative forward.
The money will go towards regional mapping, geochemical sampling and
conducting an aerial survey.
Provincial officials say the investment will produce new data for prospectors.
