Province Selects 4 District Schools for New Progra

4-area schools have been selected to offer all-day, every-day kindergarten programs this Fall.
Larry Hope is the Director of Education with the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board and says Pinewood School in Dryden and Evergreen School in Kenora will be able to enroll up to 26-students in both junior and senior kindergarten programs.
St. Patrick’s School and North Star School in Atikokan will also offer the course.
Rainy-River District School Board Director Jack McMaster says it expands on the current half-day program.
Northwest Catholic District School Board Director Mary Catherine Kelly says St. Patrick was a perfect choice.
All Three Board’s expect a smooth transition.
