Premier Kathleen Wynne is personally trying to kick start contract negotiations with Ontario’s
teachers unions.
Wynne and education minister Liz Sandals are meeting Friday with union leaders and
the members of Ontario School Boards Association.
All three major teachers unions are expected to launch job action this fall if they can’t come to a
contract settlement.
The teachers have been without a contract since September 1st of 2014.
