The Minister of Northern Development and Mines says he’s willing to meet with leaders from the Big Trout Lake First Nation and Platinex to try to resolve their on-going dispute.

Michael Gravelle says he’s offered mediation to both sides, but they haven’t accepted.
Big Trout Lake band members have been blocking attempts by Platinex to conduct exploration work in the area, despite a court injunction in favour of the company.
