Provincial Auditor Releases Report on Teacher Contracts

It cost the Liberal government of Kathleen Wynne almost a half a billion dollars to open teacher contracts last year.

Bonnie Lysyk says while there were substantial cost savings, there were also off-setting costs associated with re-opening the contracts.
Lysyk says changes to sick days and retirement benefits ultimately saved the provincial government about 2.2 billion dollars.
