Provincial Cash for Aboriginal Projects

A good portion of $6.3-million in Provincial funding for aboriginal skills training and economic development has been earmarked for First Nations in Northwestern Ontario.
Wabigoon Lake has received $150,000, Eagle Lake First Nation $67,000 and Lac Seul has been handed $47,000.
Big Trout Lake First Nation is welcoming $200,000, with Pikangikum receiving $150,000.
The money will help Aboriginal communities with business start-up’s, technical training and the hiring of regional economic co-coordinators.
