Provincial Funding For Kenora School’s

Some welcome news for the Public School Board immediately following the school year.
The Ministry of Education has given $1.1-million to the Keewatin-District School Board for a full-day kindergarten program.
King George VI Public School and Valleyview Public School are expected to have their new classrooms completed by the 2013-2014 school year.
Director of Education Jack McMaster says he hopes this will allow for creative planning if the French Immersion program begins.
