The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund is spending more then $1.6-million on construction of a new muti-use centre in Ear Falls.
Construction of the centre will give residents easier access to Municipal services and create about 120-jobs.
The building will include Municipal offices, meeting and training spaces, a day care, library, museum, fire hall and tourist information centre.
It also incorporates energy-efficient heating and ventilation systems.
The Centre is scheduled to open in March 2011.
