The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund is investing $1-million in a worker training facility in Sioux Lookout.
The Provincial funding helped the Sioux Lookout Area Aboriginal Management Board retrofit a large retail space into a trades training facility.
The project created 10-new jobs.
The facility features 3-classrooms, a computer training lab and a workshop and offers training in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and mechanical trades to members of 30-First Nation communities.
