Provincial Funds for Research Centre

Thunder Bay is one step closer to becoming home of a new health research centre.
Thunder Bay-Atikokan MPP Bill Mauro says they’re putting close to $4-million towards the project.
The new centre which houses a cyclotron and lab will create 194 construction jobs and fifty permanent jobs.
The centre will conduct research into the early detection and treatment of diseases, such as cancer.
