Provincial Government Partnering With First Nation

The New Ontario Government plans to partner with First Nations communities to help those addicted to prescription drugs.
The province is providing 1.5 million dollars in ongoing annual funding to five new Community Wellness Development Teams.
There will also be an increase in the use of telemedicine equipment in First Nations treatment centers.
It will allow health care providers to conference with patients in remote communities to enhance addition treatments.
