Donations are being sought ot complete a public art display in Cooper Park in Dryden.
The upper portions of two cottonwood trees have been cut back due to safety concerns, leaving only the trunks.
Work is now being carried out to carve the tree trunks.
The city say it needs $15,000 to complete the carvings with custom-made mounting systems.
The first carving is expected to complete later this year.
