Public Feedback Needed on Sapawe Forest

Atikokan-area residents are being asked to comment on the forest management plan for the Sapawe Forest.
An open house on the long-term plan is scheduled for January 22nd at the Atikokan Legion Hall from 3 until 8 o’clock.
A display of maps, proposed harvest areas and other information will also be available for public review at the local Ministry of Natural Resources Office and Atikokan Forest Products at that time.
The deadline to comment on the 2010-2020 forestry operation document will be March 24th.
