Public Forum On Hydro Deregulation

The Ontario Electricity Coalition is holding a public meeting in Dryden tonight over the impending deregulation of hydro in the province.
The coalition, a grassroots group opposed to deregulation, has been holding public forums across Ontario.
The coalition believes the move will lead to higher hydro rates for consumers and unreliable service.
The province plans to open up the hydro market on May 1st.
The public session runs from 7 to 9-PM at the Royal Canadian Legion in Dryden.
