The Canadian government is seeking public comments on the proposed Griffith Iron Ore redevelopment in the Ear Falls area.
Feedback is needed on which aspects of the environment may be affected by this project and what should be examined during the environmental assessment.
Northern Iron Corporation is looking at the construction and operation of the former Griffith iron ore mine.
The proposed project would produce roughly 16,000 tonnes of ore per day, with a mine life of some 20-years.
The deadline to comment is May 29th.
