Public Input Sought on Noise By-Law

Sioux Lookout residents are being asked to comment on the proposed Noise Control By-Law.
Council is expected to pass the new By-Law at its January 21st meeting.
Emergency Services Manager Rob Favot says written submissions will be accepted until the end of the day Friday.
Favot says the existing by-law is outdated and doesn’t incorporate the entire community.
He says the By-law includes exemptions for Special Events including the Blueberry Festival and Relay for Life.
Favot adds its more complaint driven and includes fines ranging from $100-$250.
