Public Meeting in Sioux Lookout

A public meeting is scheduled tonight in Sioux Lookout to discuss the
proposed municipal development charges by-law.
A development charge is a municipal fee levied against new development
to help finance the capital costs associated with the growth.
The purpose is to ease the burden on existing taxpayers.
One of the many items to be discussed tonight includes the maximum
allowable development charge.
The meeting starts at 7:30 in the Sioux Lookout Council Chambers.
