Graduation rates for aboriginal students in the public school board are about 20% lower than non-aboriginal students.
Keewatin-Patricia District School Board Student Success Leader Scott Urquhart says their goal is to try and bridge that gap.
Urquhart says about 83% of students graduate after four years, but for aboriginal students that figure drops to 55%
He adds it increases to 69% after five years.
The provincial target is to have 85% of students graduate.
