The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board says contract agreements reached between the provincial government and appropriate bargaining units are in place at the local level.
This despite claims from Canadian Union of Public Employees Ontario President Fred Hahn.
Hahn said this week that the Public Board is one of twelve in the province not to implement a contract for support staff.
Director of Education Sean Monteith says his comments are inaccurate.
Monteith says they will receive 100% funding to support the implementation of the agreements and all necessary changes have been made to ensure the contracts are in place.
