The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board is going to have to do some number crunching this year.
The public school board has been told it will be getting $1.1-million less in the 2015-16 school year.
Superintendent of Business Dean Carrie says most of the reduction is due to falling enrolment.
Carrie says they are also expecting to see a $500,000 cut to their funding for special education programs.
He stresses there are no wage increases factored into their grant allocations.
