The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board says it’s trying to open up the decision making process.
An efficiency audit has been carried out by the board.
Director of Education Sean Monteith says one of the things identified was a lack of input from staff in school board initiatives.
Monteith says they are trying to create a culture of openness, where staff can have more input in decision making.
He notes as always the student is always first in any decision making process, but how they make decisions is slowly starting to change.
