School Boards from Sault Ste. Marie to the Manitoba border have
banded together to fight the Education Minister.
The ‘Northern Coalition’ is demanding that the Province recognize the
unique challenges local officials face and to fund them accordingly.
David Penney is Chair of the Keewatin-Patricia District School Board
and says funding for daily operations isn’t enough.
