Public School Board Out With Special Ed Plan

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has introduced a revamped Special Education Plan.
The plan outlines strategies dealing with behavour, mental health, interaction between students and teachers and the use of technology.
Superintendent of Education Sean Monteith says they have one of the highest special education rates in the province.
Monteith adds they also have one of the highest success rates for student achievement.
The Special Education Plan is designed to support the work of the Board’s Strategic Plan.
