Public School Board Reacts To Latest Test Results

The Keewatin-Patricia District School Board has something to celebrate.
For the first time in the history of the Board all EQAO results are trending upwards, even in mathematics, which is not happening elsewhere in the province.
Director of Education Sean Monteith stresses there’s still room for improvement.
Monteith says they won’t be adding any more initiatives but they will instead continue to concentrate on current practices.
He says they’ve worked hard on improving the results and he’s pleased with the results.
The biggest improvement for the Board was seen in writing for Grade 3 and 6 students.
