Pumpkin Smash Volleyball Tournament

Dryden High School hosted the annual Junior Boy’s pumpkin smash Volleyball tournament over the weekend.
The tournament featured 11 schools. The final matches were tightly contested and saw St. Thomas Aquinas claim the championship over Atikokan 25-15 and 25-21. In the third place game, La Verendrye defeated host Dryden 25-22 and 25-23.
Junior Boy’s volleyball competition will conclude on November 8 with the NorWOSSA Championship at Beaver Brae high school in Kenora.
