Quick Start to Fire Season

The Ministry of Natural Resources is not considering a fire ban in
Northwestern Ontario.
A number of Districts in Southern Ontario have made the move because
of dry conditions.
Information Officer Debbie McLean warns that the quick snow melt has
created conditions ripe for fast-burning blazes.
McLean says they have responded to 8-grass fires in the Region since
the start of the fire season 2-weeks ago.
